Created in 1976 in the heart of the Côte des Blancs region, Nicolas Feuillatte is the youngest of all the major Champagne houses, and also the largest growers’ Champagne brand. By 1986, Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte already featured in the top 10 imported Champagnes in the US market. Thirty years later, it has become a global sensation and is currently the no.1 brand on the French market*, ranked 3rd in the world** and 4th in the US with more than 10 million bottles of Nicolas Feuillatte Champagne leaving the winery in Chouilly every year.
The brand’s success is derived in large part from their exceptional supply. They have 4,500 growers including 82 cooperatives that cover 2,100 hectares of vineyards from the Vallée de la Marne to the Côte des Bar, via Montagne de Reims, Côte de Sézanne and the Vallée de l’Ardre. Their portfolio is crafted from a carefully honed selection of crus including 11 of the 17 grands crus, 26 of 42 premiers crus and 145 of the remaining 260 crus in Champagne.
2017 saw the opening of the new Espace Nicolas Feuillatte, a building that reflects the brand’s “enchanted land” and their position as the world’s third leading Champagne brand. 2017 also saw the launch of their rebrand and in late Spring 2018 they added an exclusive on-trade range to their bow. It is these that we are delighted to import for the UK market today for wholesalers, traditional on-trade and caterers and which we hope will live up to their mission for our customers to: enchanter la vie.
